John, keeping up foreign relations!
|
Here's a great
story: Henry and
John were skiing and stopped to shot some scenery. They noticed
these girls, so snuck a few shots of them. Then they got brave and
asked them to pose. Finally, John asked to be in the picture with
them. He promised that he would make them famous in America!

One day, four of us (Al, Henry, Phil
& Yukio) set up a custom ski trip. We hired an instructor to
take us off-piste (out-of-bounds) skiing and, while he was at it, give
us a lesson. While we were skiing through the glacier field, we
came across this. Actually, we were on top of it, and couldn't
really see it. |
| The top was
ice. Phil was right on the edge, not seeing the crevasse that you
see from this angle. Our guide freaked! He ran up to help
Phil, but he just calmly took off and skied around it. Afterwards,
he looked backed and saw this. The picture really doesn't do it
justice, the portion of the cliff that you can see is about 20 feet
deep. But when you go up to it and look down, you can't see the
bottom. |
